With the Locals x Brooklyn Bicycle Co : CHICAGO

Introducing Wythe, our strictly street showpiece.  Our lightest fixie, the sleek Wythe cuts a daunting diamond-frame profile and leads with the commuter’s handlebar of choice—a riser bar—for a smart look and an even smarter ride.  Named one of Bicycling Magazine's Top City Bikes for 2016

Over the next year, we’re teaming up with our pals over at Brooklyn Bicycle Co. to create a bike-friendly local-approved travel guide. You know the drill. Each month, we’ll be featuring a new city, a new local, some beautiful bikes, and lots of amazing spots - right here on WithTheLocals.co.

If this Brooklyn Bicycle could DJ, it would make the dopest mixtape. Am I right - @LowResStudio

@LowResStudio isn't trying to be what's next; it's all about what's happening right now. It's a hub for Chicago creatives (and a solid docking spot for a bike as well).

While Soho House is known for being a members only club, their public area downstairs is also on point. Pictured is @TheAllisChicago which offers brunch, tea service, small plates, and more.

Like long noodles, short rice, and fat dumplings? @UrbanBellyChicago has got it all. Try 2 of my favorites: the Lemongrass Chicken or the Pad Thai.

Probably one of the most famous routes in all of Chicago, Lake Shore Drive runs parallel to Lake Michigan alongside the lakeshore trail, a popular biking and running trail with incredible views.

Combining their love for antique style + Mexican cuisine, @AntiqueTaco offers a unique twist to your typical taco shop. Try the Crispy Fish Tacos or the Pork Carnitas (and maybe a Horchata Milkshake too)!

Located in Logan Square, @LongmanAndEagle’s OSB (Off Site Bar) serves as an extension to the main restaurant,  but offers its own unique menu and has a fresh open air feel. Pro tip: they also serve specialty donuts on weekends.

Where’s Waldo (Brooklyn Bicycle Style)? Chicago is full of amazing street art. One of my new favorite murals is by artist @Lauren_Asta.

Once a members only men's athletic club, the @ChicagoAthleticHotel is now home to a hotel and four restaurants, all with a historical 1920’s feel. With a huge game room and tasty food & beverages, this recently opened hot spot is something you don’t want to miss.

With a new location in the Ravenswood neighborhood, @BangBangPie has a unique take on Midwestern fare. The avocado biscuit is always a good brunch choice!

The first U.S. shop of world renowned barista and latte artist Hiroshi Sawada, @SawadaCoffee coffee is famous for its military latte, a combination of espresso and matcha. Something adventurous for those of you who like things off the beaten path.

Summer BBQ anyone? @GreenStreetSmokedMeats has incredible counter-served bbq, but what really makes it unique is its urban "warehouse" style exterior and interior.

Home of the Chicago Bears, Soldier Field is located on the museum campus with the Adler Planetarium, the Shedd Aquarium, and the Field Museum. The campus juts out onto Lake Michigan and is a popular spot for biking, jogging, and weekend walks.
