Before we jump ahead to this week's city ... At a loss for the right words, so much of what we believe in has to do with sharing with and encouraging one another to go and do and see and be - to live. Just to live the best damn life we can. And hope that in doing so, somehow we can really connect with each other. Our thoughts and hearts are with everyone trying to live their life in peace and positivity. -------- Listen up you coffee devotees, this week is for you. Nothing too official but Steven ingar @stevenfingar is basically, practically, pretty much the official coffee connoisseur of Boston. Actually, do we have enough clout to declare that yet? I guess asking proves we're not drunk with power yet- we'll work on that. "oston is the most charming city I've ever been to. The city has a great history dating back to the early founding of America. Although we may have a reputation for being stubborn, the people who live here are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. I am currently a 4th year student at Northeastern University studying for both my bachelor's and master's degree in accounting. After working at a corporate tax firm in NYC and LA, I became engaged with the creative community that I was surrounded by. Living in Boston is amazing, my boyfriend and I love the charm of the city. We both try to fit time in our busy schedules to grab a coffee in Beacon Hill or head up to the North End for a nice Italian dinner."
Hello from Boston! My name is Steven Fingar (@stevenfingar), and I will be showing you guys around one of the most charming cities in America. We start here, at the Boston Public Library @bplboston, and will be exploring all around The Greater Boston area over the next week. Bates Hall (pictured above) is the perfect spot to practice your Harry Potter spells 🔮 Although I've never actually studied in this hall, many students crowd its desks to cram for last-minute exams.
I love the tile floors at Cafe Madeleine (@cafemadeleineboston) - they have such intricate designs. It's even located right off my campus, making it that much better! I am currently a 4th year student at Northeastern University in Boston, studying for both my bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting. Although my major isn't that focused in the creative department of life, I try to use Instagram as a void for my creative impulses.

Looking for a good book? The Brattle Book Shop is one of America's oldest used book stores. Along with this alleyway, the shop also hosts a 3-story building adjacent to the lot that contains a variety of antique and rare books that are available for purchase. Hope you all have a great rest of your day!

One of my favorite places to grab a coffee and bite to eat is Tatte Bakery (@tattebakery) in Beacon Hill. With locations in Brookline and Cambridge as well, Tatte has some of the best pastries in the city (even Oprah agrees!). Be sure to check them out and show some love.

The foliage in Boston is always breathtaking. I'm in my old neighborhood of Coolidge Corner exploring the historical houses that populate the area. There are so many memories that @ericleva and I share in this neck of the woods. Side note: walking in the middle of the street is not advised 👯

Martha's Vineyard is one of the most popular vacation destinations for Bostonians in the summer. Just a quick boat ride off Cape Cod, the 'Vineyahd' has some of the coolest shops to explore. This coffee shop is located behind a local bookstore in Edgartown and offers my favorite coffee on the island ☕️. @behindthebookstore

One of my favorite brunch places is right outside the city in the Greater Boston area. The Bancroft @the_bancroft has a delicious brunch menu, including a great boozy beverage selection. This maple Belgian waffle topped with caramelized bananas and fresh fruit is perfect alongside my mimosa.

Happy FriYAY! 🎉 Any fun plans this weekend? One of my favorite things to do is relax at a coffee shop @loyalninecafe and catch up with a friend over a cup of coffee. This shop especially is one of my favorites. It's open-air feel fits perfectly in the Cambridge landscape, and it's even located right on an abandoned railroad track.

I am a dysfunctional human without coffee in the morning. The Thinking Cup @thinkingcup brews some of the best coffee in the city using my favorite coffee roaster - Stumptown ☕️

It's the first snowfall of the season in some parts of the US. Not sure if I'm 100% ready for mountains of snow, but it definitely makes for a picturesque landscape. This trail is one of my favorites to explore during each season - a quick drive outside the city. ☃

I'm back at my favorite place for some pastries to end my Boston takeover. I hope you all enjoyed my tour of Boston this week! Be sure to follow along on my profile (@stevenfingar) for some more adventures in this city and beyond. If you're ever in town, feel free to send me a message. Thanks everyone and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
