“There is something in the New York air that makes sleep useless.”
This week, display artist, stylist & all-around super babe Michelle Bablo @michellebablo shows us around her New York City.
Hello & welcome to Brooklyn! One of my favorite neighborhood brunch spots is @selamatpagibk in Greenpoint. Their Balinese inspired menu is always on point. This morning I had the toasted coconut & banana pancakes. They also serve ice cream from their sister business @vanleeuwenicecream & you can get a pint flash-frozen to go.
(at Selamat Pagi)
After breakfast head to @thebklynkitchen for locally made snacks, fresh produce & yummy cheese! Stock up for a picnic or BBQ! They also offer cooking classes, baking & home brewing supplies & an epic collection of cookware
(at The Brooklyn Kitchen)
Great morning coffee vibes can be found @crema_bk in Greenpoint. I love that the storefront still looks like an old candy shop!

Anyone visiting Williamsburg should absolutely 100% visit @saltieny for lunch
(at Flower District)
Persian rugs, vintage fabric & selvedge Japanese Denim line the shelves of @stelladallasnyc in Williamsburg. Their side-by-side home goods & clothing store make for great vintage digging

A trusty bicycle is the best way to explore Brooklyn. Today I’m headed to one of my favorite neighborhoods -
(at Brooklyn Bridge Park)
Greenpoint’s #peterpandonuts has a great vintage vibe - think clerks in teal & pink uniforms & packages tied with string. And in the summer they make donut ice cream sandwiches!
(at Peter Pan Bakery)
A great new-to-me spot is @patisserietomoko - they have the most delicious Japanese pastries! Head there after the green market for a chocolate & passion fruit cookie!
